Senior Sales Specialist - Quant and Feeds at LSEG. This role focuses on commercializing software and data solutions for front, middle, and back office operations in the Data & Feeds group.
Overview In this role, you will hunt for new prospects and opportunities with new and existing customers. You will meet and exceed targets by delivering customer value, building trust, and leveraging deep proposition knowledge. You will structure deals and use market and business acumen to outsell the competition, manage the sales pipeline, identify opportunities daily, and drive renewals with customers.
Responsibilities
Execute strategy for long-term sustainable growth of LSEG’s footprint in data and feeds solutions.
Identify opportunities by understanding market and competitive dynamics and drive sales execution.
Collaborate with local Account Management teams to deliver results, using direction-setting and influencing skills.
Sell Real-Time Data Solutions including Realtime Low Latency Direct Feeds, End of Day & Time Series Pricing Data (all asset classes), Pricing and Reference Data, and Professional Services Solutions.
Provide in-depth customer and market insights to identify new business opportunities and drive the sales process.
Partner with technical sales engineering, Product, Marketing, Sales Strategy, and external partners to execute opportunities.
Monitor competitors and develop strategies to achieve competitive advantage.
Drive thought leadership and act as a spokesperson for the proposition, supporting community building.
Demonstrate strong business and commercial sense; influence individuals and groups in meetings; meet tight deadlines in a high-performance environment.
Proactively identify pipeline opportunities and deliver customer demonstrations tailored to propositions.
Qualifications
7+ years of experience selling realtime direct, low-latency data feeds and experience selling timeseries data for quant and strategy development workflows.
Outstanding solutions selling skills with a proven track record in a quota-bearing environment.
Self-motivated, with knowledge and direct experience selling to the Financial Services community.
Creative problem solver with strong sales ideation, presentation (verbal and written), listening, and interpersonal skills.
Expert understanding of the Financial Services sector and competitive landscape; strong technical knowledge in the financial markets trade and execution domain.
Compensation and Benefits The anticipated base salary for this position is $94,600 - $157,800. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. Eligible for a Variable Incentive Compensation plan. Benefits include healthcare, retirement planning, paid time off, and other standard benefits. Details provided during the interview process.
