Under general supervision, performs a wide variety of administrative and/or operational work in support of a major program or multiple programs within a department. Reporting to the program Director, employees in this class coordinate program operations, activities and/or services. This position will involve management of language services. Work may also involve interactions with intergovernmental officials or other external clients/partners to carry out program objectives. These functions are performed in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and MedStar Georgetown University Hospital\'s philosophy, policies, procedures and standards. Primary Duties And Responsibilities

Serves as a point-of-contact for patients, and as a liaison between internal staff/medical professionals and external vendors on matters related to contracted services. Coordinates contracted services and oversees vendor relationships. Provides administrative support to program director and program(s), including receiving and responding to calls/questions, and preparing and distributing correspondence related to program services, events and activities. Manages and coordinates language services including staffing and vendor relationships. Coordinates communication with clients/partners/patients on various program-related matters, such as event planning/execution and payment collection efforts/activities, etc. Provides information on program services. Coordinates events and travel arrangements, including the processing of travel and expense reimbursements. Prepares and distributes reports. Assists with program budget, to include receiving/processing invoices and preparing monthly accruals. Provides support on department projects. Manages and maintains office supplies and equipment. Performs other duties and responsibilities that are appropriate to the position and area. Education

Bachelor\'s degree required Experience

3-4 years of administrative work, preferably in a medical/clinical office Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel and database programs. Effective oral and written communication skills. Ability to plan, organize, prioritize and multi-task. Mathematical and data analytics skills. Proven customer service skills. Salary range: $48,235 - $84,468 Seniority level
