Perform laboratory analysis and administrative tasks associated with clinical assessment of patients. Conduct highly complex testing and coordinate teaching of Clinical Laboratory Science and medical students, residents, fellows, and other hospital staff. Execute tasks required to maintain accreditation with JCAHO, CAP, DCRA, AABB, and FDA. Education/Qualifications

MT (ASCP) or able to obtain, plus 5 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree in Biological Science with 7 years of related experience. As required by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), employees with access to blood irradiator in the Transfusion Service section must be subjected to fingerprinting and FBI identification and criminal history records check.
