Overview
Motus Integrated Technologies is seeking a US Director of Sales to lead and execute the commercial strategy for Motus' Fiber product line across North America and global markets. This strategic leader will oversee customer relationships, sales forecasting, pricing strategies, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure business growth, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for the Fiber product line to achieve revenue and margin goals
Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities with existing customers and new markets
Customer Management
Serve as the senior point of contact for key OEM and Tier 1 customer accounts
Lead contract negotiations, quoting activity, and commercial discussions
Maintain long-term customer relationships by delivering superior service and anticipating needs
Sales Operations
Manage forecasting, pipeline development, pricing, and market intelligence
Monitor industry trends and customer requirements to inform strategic decisions
Collaborate with program management, engineering, finance, and operations to ensure flawless execution
Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team
Set clear goals and performance expectations. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and customer focus.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with the product development and engineering teams to align customer requirements with product capabilities
Partner with supply chain and operations to ensure supply continuity, capacity planning, and profitability
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
Experience working with global OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers
10+ years of progressive sales experience in automotive or fiber/nonwoven materials
Background in acoustic or thermal fiber products for automotive interiors or related applications
Proven track record of building strong customer relationships and delivering commercial growth
Deep understanding of the automotive supply chain and commercial quoting processes (RFQ through SOP)
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams in a matrix environment
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed (up to 50%)
