Key Details: Competitive salary range: $140,000-$155,000 per year DOE On-site position in San Diego, CA 92127 The Opportunity As our Software Development Manager, you'll lead our software development efforts, manage a talented team of developers, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software products. Responsibilities: Provide strategic technical leadership and management for our software development team Hands-on team management that includes code reviews and architecture discussions Oversee the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment Manage all devices and applications team members use in the project Manage strategic timelines, resources, and budgets Develop and maintain team processes, methodologies, and best practices Collaborate closely with product management, design, and other cross-functional teams Ensure high-quality code standards and implementation of robust testing protocols Regular research and evaluation of emerging technologies Drive continuous improvement in development practices and team performance Participate in technical architecture discussions and solution design Assist in recruitment efforts Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback Mentor and coach development team members Requirements: 7+ years of software development experience 5+ years of proven management experience in a software development environment Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field Strong hands-on technical background with expertise in modern programming languages and frameworks Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate high-performing technical teams Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Benefits: Competitive salary range: $140,000-$155,000 per year DOE Collaborative and innovative work environment Opportunities for professional growth and development Work with cutting-edge technologies Comprehensive benefits package, including 401K Retirement with a generous 6% employer match We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and value diversity at our company.
