About Learn about the Trident II D5 Fleet Ballistic Missile. What does this role look like? This position reports to the FBM Advanced Mission Programs (AMP) Senior Manager. You will work closely with the FBM AMP staff and across the FBM Program Office and Product Directorates (Reentry, Avionics, PSOC, and SEIT) to mature technologies and advanced capabilities to meet evolving customer needs in a dynamic environment. Key responsibilities include: Direct all phases of programs from inception through completion, overseeing cost, schedule, and technical performance. Participate in negotiations of contracts and changes. Prepare proposals, business plans, and budgets. Act as primary customer contact, leading program reviews. Establish design concepts and engineering efforts. Develop new business or expand existing product lines. Set milestones, monitor adherence, identify problems, and implement solutions. Lead and direct work of employees across technical, manufacturing, and administrative areas. Note:

Although some teleworking is supported, the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Washington, DC, and work in the office as needed.
