Job #: 159413 Title: Office Manager Location: Martinsville, VA Salary Range: $45,000 annually Position: OFFICE MANAGER Description: AmeriStaff Employment and Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Office Manager for a reputable industrial packaging company in Martinsville, VA.

This is a key position within a small team, offering long-term stability and the opportunity to step into a vital leadership role. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, self-sufficient, and possess strong accounting, administrative, and communication skills.

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Salary: $45,000 annually Opportunity to take ownership of office operations Small, tight-knit team environment Responsibilities of the Office Manager:

Oversee daily office operations independently; serve as the central point of contact for customers and vendors Perform full-cycle bookkeeping including accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance Prepare, process payroll, and handle payroll and sales tax filings Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings and ensure all related documentation is accurate and compliant Create and send quotes by gathering pricing from vendors and communicating with customers Manage email-based customer service communication (minimal phone work) Create packing slips, enter purchase orders, and handle invoicing and billables Monitor and maintain a small inventory of industrial packaging products Write checks, balance books, and complete deposit slips Reconcile accounts and assist with internal audits to ensure financial accuracy Process monthly sales commissions for the team Maintain digital and paper records using Sage 50 accounting software Utilize computer skills for daily tasks including typing, managing spreadsheets, emails, and accounting documentation Requirements for the Office Manager:

High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or business preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience in an office management or full-charge bookkeeping role Proficiency with Sage 50 (or similar accounting software) is highly preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills Advanced computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), email, and digital recordkeeping Highly self-motivated with excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks independently Comfortable managing a wide variety of responsibilities with minimal supervision Proven experience handling payroll, taxes, accounts management, and vendor/customer relations Reliable, trustworthy, and committed to maintaining the integrity of office operations #INDAI2472 Requirements: Job Type: Permanent Post Date: 10/03/2025
