Job #: 159373 Title: Personal Lines Customer Service Representative (P&C Insurance License Required) Location: Martinsville, VA Salary Range: $35,000 to $45,000 annually, depending on experience Position: INSURANCE CLERK Description: AmeriStaff Employment & Staffing Solutions is seeking a Personal Lines Customer Service Representative (CSR) for a client of ours in Martinsville, VA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for servicing and overseeing personal lines accounts, supporting both current clientele and prospects. This role ensures that the highest standards of customer service are met while protecting the people of Southwest Virginia from financial harm.

Full-time, in-office schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:20 am - 5:00 pm Direct Hire Opportunity Salary: $35,000 to $45,000 annually, depending on experience Responsibilities of the Personal Lines CSR:

Process claims for clients, including follow-up and documentation in the management system Answer phone calls and handle walk-in activity from clients, carriers, or others Provide daily customer service to existing clients and new business prospects Review renewals of existing policies and requote as necessary Handle new business for prospects including quoting, applications, and completion Process endorsements accurately and timely Follow up on client cancellations and past-due accounts Maintain outstanding customer service and professionalism at all times Utilize Salesforce for customer data and policy information Additional Responsibilities:

Work independently in the performance of day-to-day tasks Update job knowledge through educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and participating in professional organizations Complete other projects and assignments as requested Maintain an accurate and up-to-date reference book for quick market appetite reference Requirements for the Personal Lines CSR:

High School Diploma required; 4-year degree preferred Must have a valid P&C insurance license Previous work experience in customer service role required Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer skills; Salesforce experience preferred Ability to compose effective correspondence independently Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain cooperative and effective relationships with others Ability to meet schedules and demonstrate high conscientiousness Strong reasoning and problem-solving skills to analyze situations and adopt effective courses of action Research skills to identify and obtain information from outside sources #INDAI2472 Requirements: Job Type: Permanent Post Date: 09/25/2025
