Position Summary
The Marketing Automation Manager will work as a subject matter expert across various marketing automation platforms, with a focus on Braze to drive value for our clients across their customer experience. This is a client facing role that collaborates closely with both internal and external stakeholders including but not limited to IT, Marketing, UX, Analytics, Development and Design.
Duties And Responsibilities
Build, QA, and deploy multi-channel campaigns (email, push, in-app, SMS) using Braze Set up Canvas journeys, campaigns, and experimentation within Braze Build complex segments using Braze filters, SQL queries (if needed), and connected data sources Partner with data stakeholders to troubleshoot integrations and ensure data readiness Implement and test Liquid logic for dynamic personalization across messages Support creation of custom attributes, tags, and user properties Actively participate through agile delivery by executing work in epics and user stories and delivering agile sprints Adhere to QA process Set up and test webhook triggers or Connected Content integrations as needed Execute routine maintenance and performance monitoring tasks and make updates where necessary Proactively present and deploy optimization activities Partner with analytics for access to data and systems for analysis and reporting
Required Qualifications
2–4 years of experience in marketing operations, CRM, or campaign execution with hands-on Braze experience Deep knowledge of Braze features, including Canvas, Liquid templating, segmentation, tags, and messaging channels Experience working with consumer data sets and connected platforms (CDPs, APIs, data warehouses, etc.) Basic familiarity with JSON and REST APIs a plus Comfort working in agency/client service environments with multiple stakeholders and fast-paced timelines Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and written documentation Excellent verbal communication and collaboration skills

Compensation
We benchmark salaries across industry standards and local markets to ensure we offer competitive, fair compensation. Final offers reflect a candidate’s skills, experience, and location.
The salary range for this role is $63,000 - $85,000 per year in the Twin Cities market. Final compensation will vary depending on the experience and location of the ideal hire.
