This includes interfacing with and performing a range of Enterprise and Business Architect services for assigned IT investments and their program management teams for the life cycle of the assigned investments, as well as support for application and investment rationalization efforts, and other portfolio management activities. These services range from determining appropriate architectural assignments at program inception to lifecycle architectural support, assistance with the development of architectural artifacts during investment development and major upgrades, Service-designated Architecture Repositories, and related in-cycle and out-of-cycle approval packages. Specific Position Requirements Support the design and development of business systems and associated Enterprise Architecture using Defense Architectural Framework (DoDAF) Enterprise Architecture (EA) guidance, IT Enterprise Architecture, or other guidance. Understand and apply Business Process Reengineering (BPR) techniques Understand Federal Enterprise Architecture and Business Mission Area System Design Guidance Develop and maintain Domain Level EA and its federation to the DoDAF Framework, and other architectures as necessary Provide portfolio-level EA technical services to assist with the building of architecture Facilitate a review of architectures for promotion from the repository's development environment to its production environment. Review architecture to ensure compliance with established standards, conventions, and structure Provide as-needed EA familiarization to Portfolio Managers (PfMs) and Program Management (PM) teams Assist the government customer with the development of a Functional Strategy for the assigned Portfolio Domain Experience in Enterprise-model development/support Experience with Enterprise, Solution, and Business Architecture domains Requirements Must be U.S. Citizen and able to obtain/retain DoD Secret clearance Three to five years experience with DoDAF, BPMN, IBM RSA, and or Microsoft Visio Experience with DoD Portfolio Management processes and guidance and comfort with briefing and working with senior-level DoD portfolio managers Desired Requirements FEAC Institute Certification
