Overview Northrop Grumman Mission Systems sector is seeking a qualified candidate to join the engineering leadership team as a Manager Manufacturing Systems Engineering 2, located in Salt Lake City, UT. The manager must demonstrate engaging leadership, teamwork, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
What You\'ll Get To Do
Manage systems test operations support for the systems factory.
Process development and maintenance over systems test operations.
Develop new test procedures and equipment.
Continuously improve processes based on data-driven metrics.
Interface with and build relationships across organizations in Salt Lake City, Woodland Hills, and other Northrop Grumman sites.
Represent the program office and external customers as needed.
Supervise a team of engineers including performance evaluations, goal setting, and developing a strategic vision for the team.
Qualifications The ideal candidate must have good presentation skills, the ability to lead technical projects (scope management, budget, schedule, and execution).
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related STEM field with 8 years of engineering experience; or Master’s degree with 6 years of engineering experience.
Experience collaborating with teams and/or project leadership.
2+ years of experience leading individuals or projects.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
Proficiency with standard Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications
SAP experience.
Experience with Fiber Optic Assembly Process.
People management experience.
Experience with Missile Defense Agency programs.
Experience using data for decision making.
Root Cause Corrective Actions experience.
Six Sigma experience.
Experience with electromechanical assembly.
Salary range: Primary Level Salary Range: $135,100.00 - $202,700.00.
