Senior Property Accountant up to $115,000/yr
A property investment and development company is looking for an experienced Senior Property Accountant to become part of their team. The position provides the chance to oversee accounting tasks for a portfolio of intricate, mixed-use properties, aiding in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and additional responsibilities. Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting for properties
Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages
Oversee cash receipts and monitor outstanding receivables in coordination with property management
Review and approve invoices using Nexus (AP software)
Prepare CAM (Common Area Maintenance), property tax, and utility reimbursements
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and preparing lender and audit reporting packagesCoordinate with joint venture partners and lease administration teams to ensure financial accuracy
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
5+ years of real estate accounting experience
Proficiency in property management/ERP software, ideally Yardi Voyager
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other Office tools
Preferred Qualifications
CPA is a plus
Experience working with mixed‑use properties
Experience with paperless AP systems is a plus
