Amazon Web Services (AWS) This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of our key technology and consulting partners. Together they provide our customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for their most complex challenges. AWS is looking for a Solutions Architect to drive technical excellence within the AWS Managed Services Provider (MSP) Program. This role combines technical expertise with strategic thinking to elevate and improve our MSP partners' capabilities across regions by working with the local MSP champions. Key job responsibilities include building and conducting enablement and validation for AWS managed services provider (MSP) Partners, working with strategic MSPs to review their practices and guide them on expanding and improving their technical capabilities, and building technical content and other resources that help scale the enablement and validation motion across thousands of Partners. The primary point of escalation for MSP validations, the Solutions Architect will be responsible for helping AWS hold a high bar for Partners on behalf of our customers. The role involves regular interaction with program leadership, key partners, and regional teams, requiring occasional travel for workshops and AWS events. About The Team The team you will work on owns the technical validation programs within the AWS Partner Network (APN). This includes programs such as the AWS Foundational Technical Review, AWS Competency, and the AWS Managed Service Provider Program. We own the definition of the technical criteria used to determine which Partners are most capable and most likely to deliver successful outcomes for our customers. Basic Qualifications
2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience Experience managing operations for IT workloads or working for a managed services provider Preferred Qualifications
