Job Description

As an Electrical Test Technician on the 3rd shift, you will develop and maintain expert-level transformer testing skills. This role involves performing and documenting a variety of tests on transformers, including control box pre-tests, fan motor tests, LTC oil filter pre-tests, and many others. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and ensuring the reliability of power transformers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct various testing and troubleshooting of power transformers, including control box testing, fan motor tests, oil filter tests, and resistance tests.
• Perform CT tests under load, heat runs, sound tests, impulse tests, and voltage distribution tests.
• Troubleshoot electronics and perform Hipot tests and other related electrical tests.
• Calculate test results and data to determine the acceptability of the tests.
• Move transformers and assemblies from auxiliary floor to test floor.
• Generate reports for corrective actions and NCR and DM reports.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $68,806.00 per year.
