Responsibilities

Provide HR generalist support for the assigned account and lead administration of key HR processes.

Mentor and train line managers to accurately apply human resource policies and programs within the unit.

Identify best practices and organizational efficiencies; support management and employees across the organization.

Handle day-to-day HR functions including recruiting, staffing, hiring, training, development, coaching, incentives, and disciplinary procedures.

Resolve employee relations issues, including hotline responses, investigations, corrective action, and policy interpretation.

Create and implement internal HR processes and procedures within ARAMARK guidelines.

Maintain compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations.

Support employee engagement initiatives, including engagement action plans and corporate engagement activities.

Advise on innovative employee motivation and morale programs.

Support Talent Acquisition initiatives (e.g., leadership development programs).

Provide HR metrics reporting and analysis, benefits and payroll assistance as needed, and onboarding programs.

Engage in union and labor relations activities as applicable.

Lead interns and HR administrative staff in continual process improvements.

Qualifications

HR/SPHR certification preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.

5-7 years of experience in Human Resources.

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or equivalent.

Experience in employment relations, investigations, and resolution planning.

Strong communication and consulting skills across multiple management levels.

Strong analytical skills; ability to train and present effectively.

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment; initiative to improve processes.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Experience in a unionized environment; familiarity with relevant labor laws in applicable jurisdictions (e.g., Washington, D.C.) preferred.
