This position will contribute to the agency by participating in project planning and procurement of necessary systems and services, guiding system integration teams in developing new financial systems, and performing analysis to identify system issues and trends, priority issues, and support system updates and enhancements through all phases. Directs finance and accounting activities of the SunPass Accounting team and SunPass back office daily activities including bank reconciliations, customer refunds, posting of payment reversals, and toll posting reconciliations. Oversees the Traffic & Revenue Audit Center audit programs and leads the transformation to reengineer the audit program by leveraging digital business intelligence to enhance scope, accuracy, and efficiencies; coordinates with Operations on unexpected results. Directs day-to-day operations related to credit card services, vendor relationships, and contract management for SunPass and Toll-by-Plate programs; manages collections contracts and delinquency reporting. Supervises employees, including performance evaluations, training, and development; participates in applicant selection and hiring; provides orientation and disciplinary actions as needed. Chief Financial Officer, N of I-4 on Turnpike, MP 263, Orlando, FL 32835. Your Specific Responsibilities

Participates in project planning and procurement of necessary systems and services. Guides system integration teams in developing new financial systems and reports. Performs analysis to identify system issues and trends, priority issues and supports system updates and enhancements through all phases (planning, testing, and deployment). Oversees finance manual maintenance and updates, reviews and approves financial use cases development and maintenance. Provides training and guidance to vendors, reviews internal controls and financial policies and procedures, and updates as necessary. Provides accurate and relevant information to management to facilitate decision making. Reviews monthly reconciliations of the balance sheet, toll activities and subsidiary ledgers. Serves as Finance contact for Partner and Fiduciary Agencies; oversees the SunPass Fiduciary Fund year-end reporting. Oversees daily Finance operations, reconciliations, and settlements with the Southeast Hub (SEHUB) and E-ZPASS finance reconciliation processes. Serves as the Finance contact for the IAG Finance Committee, system development of national interoperability, interoperable agencies and regional interoperable hubs. Directs all finance and accounting activities of the SunPass Accounting team and back office operations including bank reconciliations, refunds, reversals, and postings. Develops and monitors the SunPass Accounting expense budget; develops policy and procedural changes to improve operations and efficiency. Manages a broad range of accounting work and supervision of staff accountants; ensures SunPass program settlements with agencies are timely and accurate. Oversees day-to-day operational contacts with credit card processors, banking institutions, lockbox payment processor and money service providers. Oversees the Traffic & Revenue Audit Center audit programs and leads digital transformation to enhance audit scope and efficiency; coordinates with Operations on unexpected results. Ensures end-of-month reconciliations between reported bank collections and expected revenue; partners with bank management to meet contractual obligations for electronic transfers and related data. Manages contracts over $35,000 per transaction; responsible for financial disclosure per Florida Statutes; directs daily credit card services operations and collection services contracts; monitors vendor performance and contracts; oversees delinquent account collections and write-offs. Supervises employees, including motivation, training, evaluation, and planning; participates in hiring; provides orientation, training, counseling, and performance evaluations.
