Floating Clinical Care Supervisor – School of Dental Medicine, Clinical Affairs
Position location: Boston, MA, United States
Responsibilities
Manage, provide guidance and direct the daily workflow of the Patient Coordinators and pre-doc reception desk to support the patient appointment process for the DMD Patient Treatment Centers.
Ensure excellent customer service to patients and providers; mentor staff, provide training, and support a team-centered environment.
Collaborate with the Senior Practice Manager on interviewing, staffing concerns, and disciplinary issues.
Provide backup to the Senior Practice Manager for approved time away, unplanned absences, weekly time entries, overseeing clinic schedules, clinic orientations, and running reports (e.g., chair utilization, phone reports).
Address other operational items as they arise to support efficient clinic operations.
Qualifications
3-5 years of work experience in a similar role.
Bachelor's Degree.
Previous supervising experience of staff and demonstrated customer service background.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills; efficient and detail oriented with good multitasking ability.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, providers, staff, and management.
Compassionate approach to patient care and a consistent level of high-quality customer service.
Ability to work as part of a team in a culturally diverse environment.
