Partner and consult with senior management to deliver analytical insights on Vanguard\'s strategy and client base. Ensure team members partner effectively as consultants for business functions to deliver actionable insights and solutions. Hire, evaluate, and supervise team members. Provide guidance and training to develop staff. Set performance standards, review performance, and make informed compensation decisions in accordance with applicable HR policies and procedures. Oversee the enterprise-wide strategy and program for the adoption and implementation of analytics tools. Develop and maintain a strategic plan to ensure tools and approaches meet evolving business demands. Create an enterprise-wide view of analytics capabilities; identify gaps and propose solutions. Lead the team in consulting with business partners to establish efficient analytics and BI tools, frameworks, and capabilities. Educate business leaders about self-service tools and support teams as they stand up internal functions. Build and scale teams with expertise in advanced analytics, data engineering, analytics consulting, and business acumen. Oversee training strategy to foster development of analytical acumen for staff and leaders across Vanguard. Stay ahead of industry, market, and company trends. Ensure that Vanguard\'s use of analytics tools is scalable and sustainable. Represent Vanguard in external industry events and form external relationships to bring in new ideas and talent. Participate in the development of the department budget, including identification of technology investments and budget allocation to support these tools. Monitor expenses and ensure the unit operates within budgetary guidelines. Qualifications
