Lead SAP CI/FICA Consultant – Infosys
Infosys is seeking a Lead SAP CI/FICA Consultant. This position will be a key player in engaging with business/functional teams to provide best-fit technical solutions while conforming to client’s and Infosys development standards. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape. Location: Charlotte, NC. Travel and/or relocation may be required. Employment type: Full-time. Seniority level: Mid-Senior level. Responsibilities
Engage with business/functional teams to design and deliver best-fit SAP CI/FICA solutions that align with client and Infosys development standards. Lead workshops, blueprinting sessions, and stakeholder meetings. Oversee data migration, testing (unit, integration, UAT), and cutover activities; provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement recommendations. Mentor junior consultants and coordinate with cross-functional teams. Lead RFP activities – scope identification, effort estimation, solution articulation, and defense during due diligence. Lead requirement gathering workshops; elicit and elaborate requirements with business and IT teams and document them accordingly. Create proofs of concept and demos; explore new product features and pass knowledge to junior team members. Design compensation plans as per business requirements and create calculators to illustrate payments. Test developments in integrated environments and assist business users in User Acceptance Testing. Promote solutions to higher environments and perform cutover activities. Resolve post-go-live issues related to data fixes and solution adjustments. Lead a team of consultants located at various locations in performing the above activities. Collaborate on SAP CI, SAP FICA, and BRIM architecture; ensure strong hands-on understanding of FI-CA processes (dunning, payment processing, clearing, account determination). Manage integration with SAP SOM, SAP CRM, SAP S/4HANA, and external systems. Define and implement business rules, event handling, invoicing cycles, and payment processing. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. At least 7 years of experience in Information Technology. Location: Charlotte, NC. This position may require travel and/or relocation. At least 7 years of experience in end-to-end implementation of SAP CI and FICA modules in BRIM projects. Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into functional/technical specifications; design and configure Convergent Charging, Convergent Invoicing, and FI-CA components. Strong understanding of FICA-AP/AR and Dunning processes; knowledge of scheduling billing and invoicing, and related configurations and outputs. Experience with BRIM FICA, including contract accounting, invoicing, payment runs, and FIAR integration. Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Subscription Billing, and SAP Revenue Accounting; familiarity with ABAP debugging, enhancements, and interfaces (IDOCs, BAPIs). Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills. The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Must be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face.
