Administer anesthesia and provide comprehensive perioperative care for patients undergoing primarily orthopedic and some ophthalmologic procedures. Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations, develop tailored anesthesia care plans, and monitor patients throughout surgical procedures. Ensure patient safety and comfort through precise anesthesia administration and vigilant intraoperative monitoring. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia care in compliance with regulatory and safety standards. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and foster a patient-centered culture within the facility. Schedule And Work Environment
This position features a consistent 4-day workweek, typically Monday through Thursday, with an average workday of 8 hours. Some days may be shorter, while others may extend slightly based on case volume. The facility specializes in orthopedic procedures with some eye surgeries, offering a focused caseload that supports efficiency and expertise. With no weekend or on-call duties, this role promotes an excellent work-life balance. Additionally, the position includes 6 weeks of paid time off annually, providing ample opportunity for rest, travel, or personal pursuits. Qualifications
Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). Valid Pennsylvania state nursing license and eligibility to practice as an independent contractor. Minimum of 2 years of CRNA experience, with preference for expertise in orthopedic and ophthalmologic cases. Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
