CHI St. Vincent Infirmary is a 600-bed faith-based, non-profit, acute care facility providing quality health care to patients and communities from Arkansas. Our level II trauma center is a regional referral center for cardiology, trauma, behavioral health, cancer care, neurosciences, and other specialties. Consistent unit assignment focused on safety and quality metrics with an emphasis on patient experience. Operate within a singular unit as part of a larger hospitalist/intensivist team. Serve as a resource to physicians, radiology and lab teams, case management, and nurses. Learn from a well-established team of hospitalist physicians with diverse skill sets and 40+ years of combined tenure. Provide patient services under the direction of a supervising hospitalist. Work both autonomously and collaboratively. Contribute to the St. Vincent Health System mission, vision, and strategic initiatives. Perform comprehensive patient assessments (medical, physical, psychological). Develop, implement, and manage treatment plans. Periodically assess patient medical needs and provide patient education and counseling. Function within the scope of practice defined by state regulations and the collaborative agreement. Adhere to patient confidentiality, infection prevention, safety, security, and hospital policies. Qualifications
Current PA licensure in Arkansas (Acute Care certified). Documentation of satisfactory completion of a PA educational program and preceptorship as required by the Medical Board. Eligibility for a Medicare provider number and DEA registration. Experience in provider patient care. Benefits
