Overview

The Department of Pediatrics at Boston Medical Center and the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine (CASOM) is seeking an allergist‑immunologist for appointment as Assistant or Associate Professor in the Pulmonary/Allergy Division of the Department of Pediatrics. The position involves the full scope of outpatient allergy/immunology as well as providing inpatient consultation at Boston Medical Center. The role includes teaching medical students, residents, and A/I fellows in ambulatory, inpatient, and didactic settings, with opportunities to collaborate with the Adult Allergy/Immunology Program and care for adult patients if desired. Boston University Medical Campus comprises Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine, Boston University School of Public Health, Boston University School of Dentistry and Boston Medical Center, the main teaching affiliate of CASOM. Boston Medical Center is located in Boston’s Historic South End District and serves a large urban population with a strong community health center network. Responsibilities

Provide outpatient allergy/immunology care and inpatient consults at Boston Medical Center. Teach medical students, residents, and A/I fellows in ambulatory, inpatient, and didactic settings. Engage in collaboration with the clinical and teaching activities of the Adult Allergy/Immunology Program; opportunities to care for adult patients if desired. Participate in patient care, teaching, quality improvement, and clinical research related to Allergy and Clinical Immunology. Qualifications

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Allergy/Immunology. Interest and aptitude for clinical practice, teaching, quality improvement, and research in an academic urban environment. About the Institution
