Director of Radiology role at AMN Healthcare Leadership Solutions | B.E. Smith. Start date ASAP. Permanent | Onsite. The base salary range is $170,000.00 – $200,000.00 per year, with additional benefits may apply. Lead the Radiology team at University Hospital, a respected Academic Medical Center, with a focus on guiding strategic direction, workflow optimization, and staff development to support growth and excellence in patient care. Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Radiology department and identify opportunities to improve processes in alignment with the organization’s growth and hiring objectives. Report to the Chief Operating Officer; oversee a team of eight direct reports and 111 FTEs. Lead workflow optimization efforts to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness across the department. Develop creative recruitment and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent. Mentor, coach, and empower staff to enhance professional growth, elevate team performance, and build a strong leadership pipeline. Demonstrate subject-matter expertise in radiology with experience overseeing multiple modalities; provide strategic direction and hands-on support as needed. Show strong critical thinking, leadership, and adaptability in complex environments; prior experience in unionized settings and academic medical centers is preferred but not required. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Active Radiologic Technologist (RT) license required. ARRT certification and ICS Level 400 certification preferred. Minimum of five years of clinical radiology experience and at least three years of managerial experience, ideally in a teaching hospital or unionized setting. Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range: $170,000 – $200,000 annually. Eligibility for health insurance, retirement benefits, bonuses, and other benefits; total compensation determined based on scope, experience, education, and internal equity were applicable. The Organization
