Product Management at Capital One is a booming, vibrant craft that requires finding value creation opportunities, and driving innovative and delightful customer experiences through technology. We believe our portfolio of businesses and investments in growth and transformation will result in a company with the scale, brand, capabilities, talent, and values to succeed as the AI revolution transforms our society and our industry. About The Team At Capital One, we’re changing banking for good. We’re a bank, but we don’t think like one. We’re always thinking about what’s next. Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence are at the heart of our approach, empowering us to provide millions of customers with individualized, real-time experiences. The Enterprise AIML organization is at the center of this transformation. We provide the comprehensive platform that Capital One's innovators use to deliver impactful machine learning models and cutting-edge AI experiences. As a part of this team, you will craft the end-to-end user journey for the thousands of engineers, data scientists, and analysts who rely on our platform. Your mission will be to help transform our collection of powerful services into a single, converged "destination experience" that is intuitive, efficient, and cohesive. You will be accountable for the user experience of the AIML platform, work with a team responsible for the user journey from initial exploration to full-cycle development, and partner with vendors and internal engineering teams to integrate capabilities into a seamless workflow. The ideal candidate is obsessed with user experience, empathetic to developers and data scientists, and capable of turning complex technical capabilities into simple, elegant interfaces. You will lead user research, collaborate with designers, and use data to guide the evolution of the platform's front-end experience.
Responsibilities
Lead User Research: Cultivate a deep understanding of key user personas (Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Analysts) and their jobs-to-be-done through interviews, surveys, and usability testing.

Develop the Experience Vision: Develop and communicate a compelling vision for the platform's user experience, using wireframes, prototypes, and clear documentation to align technical users, designers, and senior leadership.
Collaborate with Design: Partner with UX/UI designers and researchers to translate user needs into high-fidelity mockups, design systems, and intuitive interaction patterns.
Prioritize with Purpose: Make trade-off and prioritization decisions focused on maximizing usability, reducing user friction, and delivering a cohesive platform experience.
Measure Success: Define, track, and analyze key user experience metrics (e.g., task success rate, time-on-task, user satisfaction) to quantify impact and inform the product roadmap.
Drive Execution: Manage the day-to-day execution and roadmap for the platform's UI/UX, working with multiple engineering teams to deliver results for our users.
