We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager for a permanent position within our growing construction firm. This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented professional with a solid background in construction accounting to contribute to our company\'s financial success. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of change orders, percentage of completion, Construction WIP, WIP, Sage 300 Timberline, Timberline, Vista Viewpoint, construction, project accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Monthly Reporting. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities
Overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and monthly reporting. Ensuring accurate and timely processing of change orders and percentage of completion calculations. Managing Construction WIP and WIP schedules. Utilizing Sage 300 Timberline and Vista Viewpoint for efficient project accounting. Preparing and presenting financial reports and risk analysis. Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure financial performance and strategic goals are met. Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures. Assisting in budget preparation and financial planning processes. Participating in special projects and complying with financial requirements of project contracts. Qualifications
A Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or CMA designation is highly desirable. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry. Proficiency in Sage 300 Timberline, Vista Viewpoint, and other relevant accounting software. Strong knowledge of construction accounting principles, including change orders, percentage of completion, and Construction WIP. Proven ability to manage and oversee the accounts payable and receivable functions. Excellent analytical and numerical skills. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. How to apply
