Psychiatric Physician

who is passionate about delivering high quality outpatient care to join our integrative and collaborative team in Georgia. Overview We are currently hiring a Psychiatrist at our Cartersville, Douglasville, and Johns Creek locations. Additional clinic locations include Smyrna, Marietta, Roswell, and mid-town Atlanta.

Our Integrative Psychiatry services treat the whole person, prioritizing comprehensive and compassionate care with advanced services including Esketamine (Spravato), Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Intensive Outpatient Programming, and IV Ketamine.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients

Diagnose and treat mental illnesses including major depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, anxiety disorders, and co-morbid substance misuse

Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans; regularly assess and document progress and adjust plans as needed

Deliver and supervise effects of interventional treatments such as IV Ketamine and TMS; refer to IOP as indicated

Prescribe medications and monitor effectiveness, side effects, and patient preferences to optimize regimens

Provide supportive therapy to individuals, couples, families, or groups; refer to network providers for specialized psychotherapies (e.g., DBT, CBT, PET)

Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and optimize treatment

Order medical work-ups including labs, diagnostics, and specialty consultations to integrate physical and mental health care

Supervise Advanced Practice Providers and contribute to a supportive supervision structure

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Ideal Candidate

Board Certified or Board Eligible

Completed an accredited four-year psychiatry residency

Knowledgeable about psychiatric disorders and treatment modalities

Desire to learn indications/contraindications and protocols for TMS, Spravato, ketamine, and IOP services

Excellent diagnostic skills and ability to develop comprehensive, evidence-based treatment plans

Proficient in supportive therapy and appropriate referrals to psychotherapy specialists

Strong communication with patients, families, and collaborating providers

Collaborative, team-oriented mindset

Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
