Sargent & Lundy . This position allows for a hybrid work schedule with a mix of work spent in office and working remote from home. Responsibilities
Utilize and expand knowledge in Power Systems to provide power system modeling and analytical support for interdisciplinary project teams. Support the interconnection of new power generation resources, including onshore/offshore wind, solar PV, battery energy storage, and traditional thermal generation. Contribute to transmission and distribution planning, design of new power plants (thermal and renewable), modifications to existing power generation facilities, power system protection, and integration of new technologies such as electric vehicles, microgrids, and green hydrogen production. Perform studies such as Power Flow, Short Circuit, Protection Coordination, Arc Flash, Transient and Dynamic Stability, Transient Over-voltage, Power Quality and Harmonics, System Impact, Cable Ampacity, and Grounding. Travel to client offices and project sites to provide on-site consultation as needed. Qualifications

BS in Electrical Engineering (Power/Power Systems) with a strong academic emphasis in Power Systems Analysis;
MSEE or Ph.D. is required . Understanding of practical electrical engineering applications and project design. 12+ years of related engineering experience. Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles for producing technical plans, drawings, and models. Proficiency with MS Office applications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; solid interpersonal skills to work with and guide others. Valued But Not Required Skills And Experience
Internship or work experience in performing power analysis in the power industry. Experience with PSS/E, PowerWorld, PSLF, TARA, CYME, Synergi, ETAP, SKM, PSCAD, EMTP-RV. Strong scripting knowledge (Python, JavaScript, etc.). FE exam completed and Engineer in Training designation. Award-Winning Benefits
