Senior Sales Manager - Software Solutions role at GE Vernova. Lead an opportunity to substantially impact the world by helping the energy sector’s future with Performance, Emissions, Reliability & Safety. The Senior Sales Manager for GE Vernova’s Power & Energy Resources Software Team (PERS) is responsible for sales of SaaS solutions in the Power Generation sector to ensure attainment of revenue and growth targets in the United States. It requires identifying sales opportunities within existing and new accounts, driving prospecting, strategy and account planning, executive relationship development and discovery assessments. Works with PERS and GE Vernova Business Units to drive growth in software sales and revenue generation, and to develop an overall sales readiness vision for the territory. This role may require travel up to 50% of the time to customer locations and GE offices. Roles & Responsibilities

Meet / Exceed targets per month, quarter, year by closing, building and maintaining required sales pipeline for the territory. Learn and follow existing sales processes to articulate specific sales strategies. Conduct Direct to Customer and GEV BU prospecting activities and research to gain access to new business prospects and identify client pains to drive buying activity. Select opportunities to work and qualify/prioritize them in line with PERS strategy. Earn customer trust through value-driven engagements and solid execution; establish win/win partnerships and deepen relationships. Professionally differentiate our solutions from the competition. Partner with internal and external GE Vernova teams; experience with GE Vernova Gas Power is a plus. Formulate winning proposals with commercial operations and leadership based on strategy, discovery content, and PERS products. Maintain Opportunity Plans and Account Plans for opportunities and key accounts within the territory. Ensure a professional sales experience throughout the sales process with clear meeting agendas, prompt follow-ups, and timely issue resolution. Maintain accuracy in SFDC CRM for opportunities, contacts, and clients. Travel to customer locations and GE offices up to 50% of the time to fulfill duties. Reports to Americas Commercial Leader as part of the global PERS commercial team. Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, STEM or related discipline from an accredited college or university. Master’s/Graduate degree preferred. Substantive experience in consulting or customer-facing roles. Demonstrable experience in ‘Value Selling’. Desired Characteristics

Proven track record of sales success; enterprise account management is a plus. High energy, participatory style with strong interpersonal skills, creativity and curiosity; ability to influence across multiple organizational levels. Experience in Power Generation industry. Experience with equipment manufacturers and service providers and enabling value of predictive analytics in service agreements. Innovation: Drive innovation to electrify and decarbonize the world. The salary range for this position is $118,000 USD - $148,000 USD, with eligibility for commission.
