Overview
West Virginia University School of Medicine and the WVU Heart and Vascular Institute seek a cardiothoracic surgeon (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will practice in Wheeling, WV. Depending on operational needs, the candidate may provide services at additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania, with travel anticipated as part of the role. Responsibilities
Practice in the area of cardiothoracic surgery and provide excellent patient care. Teach medical students, residents, and fellows. Provide services at additional worksites as needed, with travel to fulfill duties. Qualifications
MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent; eligible for a West Virginia medical license. Board certified or board eligible in cardiothoracic surgery. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment. About WVU Health System
