Job ID: 254972 Position: 20006573 The Radiology and Imaging department is seeking innovative, collaborative colleagues who regularly examine their pedagogy and practices to foster more belonging, accessibility, and full student learning. The individual should be an Accredited Council Graduate Medical Education training fellow. This position involves training under Radiology and Imaging faculty in Breast Imaging while working clinically as a faculty member at Augusta University Medical Center. This Fellowship lasts for one academic year. Faculty instructors in the Radiation Diagnostic program prepare students to administer radiation treatments safely and accurately. Responsibilities include classroom instruction, assessment, curriculum development, advising students, engaging in professional inquiry, committee work, and utilizing instructional technology across various delivery modes. The position also includes program chair duties for the Radiation Therapy program, responsible for overall management. Required Qualifications
MD Degree Completed Diagnostic Radiology Residency ABR board certified or eligible Additional Faculty Employment Qualifications
Aligned with SACSCOC accreditation standards Evidence of teaching ability and scholarly activity Successful experience in academic roles (waived for recent entrants) Personal qualities assessed via interview, biographical data, and recommendations Shift, Salary, and Benefits
This is a full-year, full-time position (FTE 1.0). Salary is commensurate with experience and credentials, subject to funding availability.
