Overview

Clinical Specialist, Interventional Technologies (San Francisco, CA) – Haemonetics. Role focuses on partnering with sales management in a defined geographic area to identify clinical needs of physicians and hospital staff, demonstrate how interventional products meet patient care goals, provide case coverage, and help achieve sales objectives. Responsibilities

Collaborates with sales management to provide case coverage and clinical outcomes for patients. Serves as the primary clinical resource for support in coverage troubleshooting and in-service education for company products. Inform customers about latest product, therapy, and technology developments; engage in procedural and technical discussions. Link clinical data to key messaging. Meet with existing and potential customers to identify clinical needs and propose creative, feasible solutions using company products. Collaborate with the sales team daily to share account information and insights. Educate customers on merits and proper clinical usage of company products; share competitive insights where appropriate. Oversee local education and training activities, including coordination and setup of programs, procedural troubleshooting, and staff education facilitation. Establish and maintain productive relationships with key decision makers, customers, and staff. Support monitoring of product inventory levels. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Education

Required: Bachelor’s degree (Arts or Science). Medical training (RT, RCIS, Surgical tech, RN, NP, or first assistant) preferred. Experience

5+ years of directly related experience in the medical device industry. Strong clinical orientation with experience in interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, vascular, or cardiac surgery. Skills

Excellent interpersonal skills and strong clinical orientation with the ability to influence clinicians, nurses, and lab staff. Ability to persuasively communicate and tailor the Vascular Closure Value Proposition. Analytical with financial acumen; understanding how product performance and data impact a health system’s bottom line. Maintains good working relationships while handling confidential matters. Strong verbal and written communication; attention to detail in records and reports. Thorough knowledge of the medical device market, products, and customer base; strong MS Office skills. Emotional intelligence to manage schedule and relationships effectively. Experience in cardiovascular space calling on interventional cardiologists, vascular surgeons, surgeons, interventional radiologists, administrators, and clinical staff; vessel closure experience and clinical education/training experience preferred. Physical Demands and Travel

Typical physical requirements include sitting, standing, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and occasional lifting up to 10 pounds. Frequent keyboarding and exposure to blood and moderate noise. Travel: Regular domestic 25-50%. Compensation and Benefits

The base pay range for this role is

$66,060.29



$109,051.90

annually. In addition, eligible for incentives, discretionary annual bonus for non-sales roles, and participation in long-term incentive plans per applicable terms.
