Account Manager, Interventional Technologies, Boston, MA (South Territory)
Haemonetics Interventional Technologies is seeking an experienced Account Manager to drive strategic and operational execution in the Southern Territory.
Overview As Account Manager, you will represent our products to new and existing customers, achieving sales expectations and quota within an assigned territory.
Responsibilities
Drive daily sales objectives focusing on territory growth, including new account targeting, cultivation, and launch planning.
Develop and execute territory business plans in a quarterly quota-based system, implementing sales strategies based on relevant factors.
Direct all training and education planning during account launches.
Present and implement performance guarantees in key accounts, and follow up with Quarterly Business Reviews.
Transfer account knowledge and requested information to leadership on a regular basis.
Ensure compliance with company policy, quality system, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate and coordinate clinical specialists, aligning the team around the business plan.
Make clinical and economic presentations to customers, committees, and relevant staff.
Build and maintain solid customer relationships, including KOL cultivation and maintenance.
Maintain professional ethical standards and represent the company with the highest professional standards.
Develop relationships with hospital administrative staff and execute corporate contracts where appropriate.
Demonstrate outstanding product knowledge, provide training to new hires, cross-cover territories, share best practices, and contribute to marketing and competitive intelligence.
Fiscally manage territory by controlling expenses, product returns, and inventory.
Gain access to physician champions leveraging corporate resources and support key stakeholder presentations.
Develop KOL advocates to educate and influence stakeholders regionally and nationally.
Support corporate account contract discussions to meet revenue goals and facilitate product approvals.
Provide comprehensive technical support regarding device suitability, imaging modalities, EKG, blood pressure, hemodynamic waveforms, and ancillary procedural solutions.
Complete other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor of Arts or Science required.
Experience:
5+ years of directly related experience; Medical Device Sales in Interventional Cardiology and/or Structural Heart strongly preferred.
Training/Certifications:
None required.
Skills:
Thorough knowledge of medical device market, products, and customers.
Strong work ethic with a sense of urgency to accomplish objectives.
Business acumen and experience targeting and prioritizing key customer accounts.
Ability to establish personal credibility in the territory to deliver messages to clinical staff, administrators, and physicians while overcoming obstacles.
Emotional Intelligence to manage schedule and clinical resources efficiently.
Previous medical device sales experience in the targeted territory’s specialties.
Strategic thinker and tactical planner with flexibility, innovativeness, and resourcefulness.

Pay Transparency & Compensation The base pay for this role will consider location, education, job knowledge, skills, and experience. Incentives may be provided as part of Haemonetics’ employee compensation. A base salary range of $66,060.29–$109,051.90 per annum is provided.
