Overview
Cardiovascular Tech role at Talented Medical Solutions. Location: Torrance, CA. Shift options: 7:30 am to 6:00 pm (10 hours) or 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (8 hours) and on-call.
Responsibilities
Upholds core values and provides customer service in accordance with Service, Excellence, Knowledge, Stability and Community.
Demonstrates competence in selecting exposure factors, positioning and producing radiologic images of diagnostic quality.
Works cooperatively with department staff to resolve problems expediently.
Displays flexibility, team spirit, compassion, respect, politeness and accountability when dealing with customers.
Demonstrates awareness of and sensitivity to patients' rights in all interfaces with patients.
Adheres to ALARA safety principles and complies with organization-wide and department policies and procedures.
Complies with patient care requirements of regulatory agencies and maintains knowledge of applicable policies.
Maintains safe delivery of patient care and reports any unsafe conditions immediately.
Practices aseptic technique, infection control procedures and understands radiation safety, MSDS and fire/safety policies.
Uses two patient identifiers prior to beginning an exam and maintains HIPAA compliance.
Administers oral contrast as needed, prepares patients for radiographic/fluoroscopic examinations and assists Radiologist during procedures.
Demonstrates competence in operating x-ray equipment, CR and DR systems and reports equipment malfunctions.
Completes all assigned procedures in a timely manner and assists with other duties as needed.
Maintains knowledge of Hospital Information System (HIS), Radiology Information System (RIS) and PACS.
Participates in performance improvement activities when warranted.
Maintains work area with necessary supplies and performs duties beyond direct assignment as needed.
Qualifications
Must Haves:
BLS
ARRT
(Fluoro and CRT) for IR Technologist
California State license
Nice to Have:
CVT license preferred if possible

Equipment: Philips Clarity bi-plane unit, Icono Siemens unit, Merge Hemodynamic system
EMR: Merge Hemodynamic system
Policies and Dress Code
Clock in/out times; lunch breaks required; overtime with manager signature; call-in policy; report injuries or illnesses to supervisor/manager; call-in process for coverage.
Missed shift policy: no; Cancellation policy: 2 weeks' notice.
Dress code: Scrub color – hospital OR scrubs.
Shift and Location Shift Times: Days shift 07:30 to 18:00. Location: Torrance, CA.
