Job Summary: The Supply Chain Analyst is dedicated to overseeing the new product request process to assign and prepare for system-wide value analysis committees. This role will also support GPO conversion opportunities with the value analysis committees. Using multiple databases, the Supply Chain Analyst will provide analysis of potential cost reduction or utilization change opportunities, track value analysis initiative implementation, and help prepare value analysis product announcements system-wide.

Responsibilities

Collect, analyze, interpret, and summarize data using Microsoft Office applications (Access and Excel) and multiple databases containing clinical and financial data.

Design and maintain tables and databases associated with the Sourcing, Contracting and Value Creation processes.

Interpret results to identify areas of opportunity for cost containment and clinical quality within the hospital supply chain.

Prepare executive-level materials and presentation-quality materials for use in senior management settings.

Assist with implementation and roll-out of system-wide value analysis software.

Collaborate with Contracting, Materials Management, GPO, and the clinical quality value analysis team to support analytical requirements for various projects.

May require learning additional databases, reporting and analysis tools.

Manage item dictionary by updating pricing, vendor information, packaging strings, new item additions, and item deactivations.

Support achievement of the Supply Chain's annual savings target by utilizing resources such as DataLynx, GHX, and Novus to review opportunities for SKU rationalization.

Support buyers, Value Analysis Coordinator, Contract Coordinators and Contract Category Manager with analytics for contract conversion opportunities.

Support System Analysts with end-user support at each facility.

Qualifications / Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 2 years as an Analyst; healthcare supply chain experience required.

Education: Associate's degree required.

Licenses / Certifications: N/A
