Chief Nursing Officer (CNO)

Be a senior member of the hospital leadership team and participate in oversight and establishment of best practices and standards for hospital clinical services. Manage the nursing teams to provide the highest quality of care and service for patients. Coordinate nursing with other patient care and support functions to ensure optimum delivery of health care. Provide leadership and guidance in establishing standards for nursing and other clinical services under the CNOs jurisdiction. Steer progressive clinical excellence through staff development. Share responsibility for employee engagement, recruitment, and retention. Provide nursing care to patients with acute medical conditions. Actively assign nursing personnel and serve as a resource person and consultant. Implement company standards of care, policies, and procedures. Ensure all regulatory requirements are met. Create and implement schedules for safe staffing. Collaborate with hospital leadership and other departments to achieve the best patient outcomes. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications BSN required MSN or equivalent masters in Healthcare or enrollment in a masters program required Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse required 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience required 3 or more years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity required Certified BLS completed by date of hire required ACLS required within 6 months of hire Preferred Experience Three years of RN experience in rehabilitation nursing preferred CRRN required when eligible Employment details
