Senior Product Manager-Textiles

Medline Industries, LP . This role is based at our Northfield, IL corporate headquarters and will operate in a hybrid model. Under minimal supervision, manage the full product lifecycle including sourcing, marketing, new product development, sales support and financial growth of assigned products for a small (or stand-alone) business unit. Responsibilities

Negotiate pricing with vendors for raw materials and finished goods. Visit vendors to develop products and train personnel in all aspects of each product and usages. Coordinate materials with vendors and develop finished custom items. Provide coaching and training to product management team. Serve as a resource and provide project oversight. Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans and promotional programs for existing products, including product strategy development, pricing strategy, collateral creation and brand management. Review monthly financial performance and determine contributing factors. Offer solutions for detrimental sales or cost trends. Prepare product forecasts to include revenue and expense expectations. Analyze sales trends and support budgets with detailed marketing plans. Collaborate with Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Engineering to reduce Cost of Goods by assessing packaging, alternate materials, new sources of material, stocking, make-to-order, direct-to-customer shipments, etc. Manage inventory by eliminating surplus and optimizing SKU count. Develop and deliver training materials for internal stakeholders, sales forces and customers. Create sales tools. Conduct market research and translate findings into new products, product improvements, or line extensions, providing leadership to a multi-functional team. Travel with the sales force to support efforts to convert customers to Medline products. Provide timely follow up to sales forces by answering product questions via e-mail and phone. Develop and mentor staff through onboarding, open communication, training and development opportunities, performance management processes, and maintaining appropriate staffing with required competencies. Required Experience

Education

Bachelor’s degree. Minimum Job Requirements

At least 4 years of experience in marketing, sales, product management or clinical practice in the healthcare industry. Experience negotiating with outside vendors and internal resources. Experience collecting and analyzing financial data. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Willing to travel up to 50% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state). Intermediate Microsoft Word skills (e.g., inserting headers, page breaks, page numbers, and tables or adjusting table columns). Intermediate Microsoft PowerPoint skills (e.g., applying a theme, formatting, inserting pictures, slide layout and theme colors, transitions, slide numbers, chart formatting). Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., using SUM, borders, column width, charts, text wrap, sorting, headers/footers, print scaling). Compensation

The anticipated salary range for this position is

$96,200.00 - $144,560.00

annually. The actual salary will vary based on location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than applicable minimum wage or salary threshold. Benefits
