Overview
ACRS seeks a full-time Behavioral Health Clinical Director who is responsible for the overall day-to-day clinical operations of the state licensed Behavioral Health Services (BH) department, with a focus on core mental health services. Ensures delivery of quality clinical service with attention to cultural relevance, diversity, equity and inclusion, and within a whole person, integrated care framework, while complying with state, federal, county and contract requirements. Supports the department director in strategy and quality integration while ensuring financial health of programs and supporting clinical staff to meet the needs of Asian and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander (AANHPI) communities. Responsibilities
Plan, organize and direct the core mental health clinical service operations of the BH department. Ensure program requirements, goals and standards are met as a state-licensed mental health outpatient service provider and King County credentialed provider, with attention to cultural relevance and inclusion. Promote whole health, whole person integrated care. Collaborate with the Department Director, Special Programs Director and staff in strategic planning and program development for quality, integrated BH services for AANHPI communities. Promote the financial health of the department, including development and oversight of the annual budget and management of program revenue and costs. Supervise, train and provide clinical and administrative support to BH clinical supervisors, intake coordinator and other staff. Enforce agency policies, conduct performance reviews, participate in hiring/firing, and address staff issues per policy. Develop and coordinate BH staff training, including orientation and required trainings, clinical and cultural competency training. Lead Quality Assurance processes to improve outcomes, workflows and processes; support staff and provide clinical consultation as needed; resolve client complaints and grievances. Represent the BH department at system meetings and provide education or consultation to community partners and schools as appropriate. Attend agency and program meetings, trainings and supervision sessions. Position Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Master’s degree in Social Work, Social or Behavioral Sciences, with minority mental health specialization designation and a minimum of three years clinical supervision experience. Experience with individuals with chronic mental illness and AANHPI communities. Mental Health Professional status with at least five years of experience in mental health services for long-term illness; registered/licensed per WAC requirements. Knowledge and Skills:
Strong communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to provide culturally responsive care. Fluency in AANHPI language is preferred. Team player with strong organization and prioritization. Knowledge of clinical supervision, case management, program development and administration, and related mental health concepts. Technical Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer use; ability to research and perform tasks online. Benefits
Pay range: $121,700 to $132,200 annually, with potential increases based on experience and after 6 months from date of hire. ACRS pays 100% for employee-only health benefits; additional options are covered 75-85%. Vision insurance available at low cost. Life, AD&D and long-term disability insurance fully covered by employer. Employer-paid ORCA card and vanpool program; on-site parking available at Main Office. Paid Time Off: 8 hours vacation accrued monthly (use after 6 months); 6 hours sick leave accrued monthly; up to 32 hours wellness leave per year (proration may apply); 13 paid holidays annually.
