Overview
Litigation Counsel at Wiley – Hoboken (HQ), NJ, USA. This role involves hands-on in-house litigation work across disputes including commercial breach of contract, intellectual property, First Amendment, privacy, and antitrust. The successful candidate will manage a wide range of litigation and pre-litigation matters, and oversee outside counsel engagements when appropriate. Base pay range $134,300.00/yr - $192,566.66/yr Responsibilities
Provide strategic advice and counsel on dispute resolution and litigation strategy. Handle case management tasks, including drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs. Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation efforts and counsel clients on risk mitigation strategies. Oversee and manage all aspects of e-discovery, including data collection, review, and production. Represent the company in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations. Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the bar in New Jersey, New York, or eligible for a New Jersey In-House license. Minimum of 6 years of experience in civil litigation. Strong knowledge of e-discovery processes and tools. Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Proven ability to manage multiple cases and projects simultaneously. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications
Clerkship experience preferred. Familiarity with intellectual property, privacy, and First Amendment law is a plus. About Wiley
