To provide anesthesia and related care to the surgical patient during the immediate pre-, intra-, and post-operative period. Works collaboratively with the team to support safe patient care and a safe environment at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Our pediatric anesthesia team is growing, and we are recruiting skilled anesthetists to provide advanced care to pediatric patients. You will be part of a team of more than 150 anesthesiologists and anesthetists across three hospitals—Scottish Rite Hospital, Hughes Spalding Hospital, and Arthur M. Blank Hospital—with 789 licensed beds and over 1.1 million patient visits annually. As a Children’s anesthetist, you’ll work with an experienced surgery team to provide anesthesia and related care around the perioperative period. What We Offer

No minimum experience required Education
Master’s degree in Medical Science; or Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing with a concentration in Anesthesia (terminal degree for CRNA is Doctorate of Nursing Practice) Certification Summary
National certification as an Anesthesiologist Assistant (NCCAA) or Nurse Anesthetist by the NBCRNA Current Licensure as a Physician’s Assistant – Anesthetist in Georgia OR licensure as a Registered Nurse in Georgia or Multi-State via E-NLC and APRN licensure in Georgia Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association on hire Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association within 60 days of hire Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Strong writing skills for anesthesia records Effective communication with patients and staff Job Responsibilities
