The mission of Lyon-Martin Community Health Services is to provide high quality, compassionate and trauma-informed medical, gynecological, and mental health care services to trans, non-binary, gender non-conforming, and intersex communities and cis-gender women with specific sensitivity to LGBQ sexual orientation, disability, size, race, ethnicity, and language, regardless of immigration status or ability to pay. Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive physical therapy, within the scope of credentialed privileges, to Lyon-Martin clients, documenting care promptly and following charting protocols and applicable CA state licensing requirements. Maintain strong clinical knowledge and commitment to healthcare for trans, non-binary, gender non-conforming, intersex, LGBQA+ communities, and cis-gender women. Develop a continuity panel of clients and complete patient sessions in a timely manner. Analyze and interpret histories, symptoms, physical findings, or diagnostic information to develop diagnoses and treatment plans within scope of licensure. Maintain productivity standards and monitor no-show rate (7 patients per 4-hour session). Collaborate with leadership to envision and expand Chronic Pain Management and Integrative Care programs. Work with mental health and medical staff to facilitate integration and improve patient outcomes. Provide de-escalation and connect clients to appropriate care; foster safety and connection. Document visit notes and client interactions completely and timely (within 72 hours, ideally 24 hours). Follow Lyon-Martin policies, insurer agreements, and applicable statutes and regulations. Participate in administrative/clinical duties as needed (case presentations, training, supervision of students, committee work, events). Complete mandatory trainings annually and communicate inventory needs to leadership; follow billing and eligibility protocols with Operations. May be required to work some evenings. Qualifications

Education/Licensure Post-graduate degree from an accredited physical therapy institution (DPT) Valid CA physical therapy license Experience At least 1 year in practice as a licensed physical therapist Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy Certification preferred Culturally sensitive and able to work with diverse populations; experience with lesbian, bisexual, transgender, non-binary, gender non-conforming, and intersex clients; experience with clients of varying disabilities, racial, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds, and economic statuses. Experience with clients who experience sex work, homelessness, mental health challenges, substance use, incarceration history, and varied ages. Preferred Bilingual in English & Spanish or another non-English language. Benefits
