Overview
Pharmacist Specialist - Full-time, Second Shift, at Nebraska Medicine on the main campus in Omaha, NE. This role collaborates with physicians and nursing staff; performs order verification and pharmacist consults (vancomycin, warfarin, parenteral nutrition, and others); conducts admission and discharge medication reconciliation; monitors laboratory parameters for select therapies; provides patient education; responds to rapid response activations; and supervises pharmacy students and residents. Responsibilities
Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to optimize medication use and patient outcomes. Perform order verification and provide pharmacist consults (e.g., vancomycin, warfarin, parenteral nutrition). Conduct admission and discharge medication reconciliation. Monitor laboratory parameters for select therapies. Provide patient education and counseling. Respond to rapid response activations as needed. Supervise pharmacy students and residents. Shift: Second Shift (2:00 pm–10:00 pm), Monday–Friday; no weekends or holidays. Position Highlights

Doctor of Pharmacy degree from ACPE-accredited program or Bachelor/Master of Pharmacy with 10 years of experience required. Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in Nebraska or jurisdiction of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association. Preferred Qualifications
ASHP-accredited postgraduate year one residency preferred. BPS certification as deemed appropriate and relevant to practice preferred. EEO Statement
