Nebraska Medicine Oncology Pharmacist Specialists supervise pharmacy services in assigned patient care areas and ensure medication‑related needs for patients and providers are met. Pharmacists work proactively as a member of an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal pharmaceutical care.
Position Highlights We are seeking an Oncology Pharmacy Specialist to join our nationally respected adult oncology team. Integrated roles provide collaborative pharmacy services across the acute care environment, ambulatory oncology clinics, and oncology infusion center, supporting seamless and comprehensive care throughout the care continuum. This position is focused in our infusion centers located in Omaha, NE.
Ideal candidates are passionate about oncology and specialty disease states, and are committed to advancing oncology care through scholarship, education and quality improvement. Infusion or Oncology Pharmacy experience is valuable, but we offer a robust training program for pharmacists who do not have formal Oncology or Infusion pharmacy training/experience.
Applicants with the following experience will be given priority consideration: Completion of an Oncology PGY2 or fellowship OR Completion of a PGY1 plus a minimum of 3 years of experience as an oncology clinical specialist OR Minimum of 5 years of experience as an oncology clinical specialist or equivalent.
Work Schedule
Full‑time; benefits eligible (1.0 FTE / 40 hours per week)
First shift / 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM with rotating evenings and every 4th weekend equivalent.

Required Qualifications
Graduation from an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accredited Doctor of Pharmacy degree program OR possession of a Bachelor or Master of Pharmacy degree with 10 years of experience.
Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the State of Nebraska or jurisdiction in which pharmacy practice is conducted.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program.
Preferred Qualifications
American Society of Health‑System Pharmacists (ASHP) accredited postgraduate year one residency.
Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties (BPS) certification.
