• Recruitment and Retention Bonus may be available for clinicians newly hired with California Correctional Health Care Services. • Effective July 1, 2023, employees who provide direct in-person patient care on grounds or at a facility may receive a pay differential of 15% of their monthly base pay while this policy applies. • A $10,000 one-time recruitment and retention stipend and a monthly recruitment and retention differential during the first year may be available to eligible individuals. • A $5,000 referral bonus may be available for CDCR/CCHCS employees who are selected for hire and remain employed for 90 days. Details and eligibility criteria will be provided during the pre-employment process. Key responsibilities

Under the general direction of the Senior Psychiatrist (Sup), be a member of an Interdisciplinary Treatment Team providing general population outpatient services to inmates. Perform psychiatric evaluations and participate in treatment planning and case reviews. Prescribe medications and provide crisis intervention and psychotherapy as part of case management. Provide consultations and training in treatment approaches to clinical and custody staff of the Interdisciplinary Treatment Team. Minimum qualifications
