Under the general direction of the Chief Psychiatrist, the Senior Psychiatrist Supervisor is responsible for functional supervision of mental health program professions in the CCCMS, EOP, SNY/EOP and Mental Health Crisis Bed (MHCB).

Compensation and Incentives

Pay range is provided by the California Correctional Health Care Services. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Recruitment and Retention Bonus may be available for clinicians newly hired with California Correctional Health Care Services.

Effective July 1, 2023, employees who provide direct in-person patient care on grounds or at a facility for more than 50% of the pay period shall receive a pay differential equivalent to 15% of their monthly base pay.

This HAM rate for this classification is $31,320.

Individuals may be eligible for a $10,000 one-time recruitment and retention stipend if they meet eligibility criteria, including remaining employed with CCHCS for six months. Additionally, a monthly recruitment and retention differential during the first year with CCHCS (totaling $5,000) may be available if eligible.

California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) and California Correctional Health Care Services (CCHCS) employees may be eligible for a $5,000 referral bonus if selected for hire and remain employed for 90 days.
