Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Providence Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, CA. This position is PT and will work 10-hour, Variable shifts. Providence Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo has Magnet designation in 2012, 2017, 2021 and is in the process of earning a fourth designation in 2025. Under minimal supervision, performs and documents quality nuclear medicine procedures (invasive and noninvasive) on neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in a timely manner as ordered by the physician. Supports supervisor and radiologist in carrying out duties that contribute to an effective Nuclear Medicine department. Promotes positive working relationships with patients, families, physicians, and other employees demonstrating teamwork to ensure excellent patient care. – Perform and document quality nuclear medicine procedures (invasive and noninvasive) on diverse patient populations as ordered by the physician. – Support the supervisor and radiologist to contribute to an efficient Nuclear Medicine department. – Promote positive relationships with patients, families, physicians, and staff to ensure excellent patient care. Qualifications
Associate's Degree in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent education/experience Coursework/Training and participation in continuing education program Upon hire: National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board OR Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Upon hire: California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association 1 year of experience as a technologist in the area of expertise in a hospital setting and/or Imaging Center Preferred Qualifications
