Valor Healthcare operates over 50 VA Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) in the United States as a contractor for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Valor provides a full range of medical services to veterans through the operation of CBOCs, tailored to meet the needs of local VA medical centers. Oswego is located along the shoreline of Lake Ontario, offering access to outdoor recreation and a vibrant community with dining and cultural options. It is less than 40 miles from Syracuse, NY. Responsibilities

Actively participate and oversee the diagnoses and treatment of veterans. Manage day-to-day medical operations, ensure high-quality clinical care, and provide exceptional customer service. Achieve and maintain excellent clinical outcomes through chart reviews, direct observation, and adherence to VA guidelines. Ensure staff provide excellent customer service to veterans, colleagues, and clinic visitors. Participate in managing the clinic’s financial performance. Participate in outreach events to support clinic enrollment initiatives. Support patient enrollment and retention by guiding scheduling and follow-up visits. Maintain staffing levels aligned with veteran enrollment and contract terms while monitoring clinical outcomes. Review reporting and alerts to ensure clinic metrics meet VA thresholds. Emphasize recruiting, coaching, mentoring, and retaining talent through communication, training, and performance management. Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with VA partners and keep leadership informed of significant issues. Innovate and support new clinical or operational initiatives aligned with Valor’s strategic goals. Qualifications

4+ years of clinical medical practice with healthcare management experience preferred; government healthcare environment experience is preferred; specifics may vary by VA contract. Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine degree. Board certified in family practice or internal medicine. Credentialed and in good standing with the Veterans Health Administration (VA). Valid, unrestricted license in the state of employment or as required by VA contractual needs. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and ACLS as specified by VA contract. Current, unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration. Proficiency in written and spoken English. Excellent computer skills and ability to manage both up and down in the organization. Energetic, optimistic demeanor with a strong service mentality and ability to meet defined service standards. Ability to resolve issues with colleagues, clients, and patients in a timely manner. Benefits

Competitive salary in the range of $270,000–$280,000 based on experience. Annual incentive; sign-on bonus. Great work/life balance with no nights or weekends for outpatient roles.
