Overview
Regional Operations Director (ROD) at DaVita Kidney Care. This role oversees approximately 10 dialysis centers, about 200 teammates, and P&L accountability of roughly $30-$50MM. The ROD provides strategic and tactical leadership to field management to ensure safe, efficient, therapeutic, and ethical patient care. The position identifies and develops growth opportunities, monitors division performance, and collaborates with the Divisional VP or SVP to align with DaVita’s mission and values. This is a key member of DaVita’s field management team. Responsibilities
Create a high-performing team; lead approximately 10–12 direct reports to ensure quality and compliant patient care. Address growth priorities, patient census, and lead successful operational conversions on acquisitions. Drive key metrics and outcomes for the designated book of business. Develop and execute strategic operating plans and goals for assigned division facilities. Meet labor budget and manage financial and revenue growth, operations, and labor management. Review and address gaps in service excellence, policies, and procedures; identify issues and implement solutions. Manage contract management and clinical outcomes within the assigned facilities; maintain awareness of competition and perform SWOT analysis. Lead a growing, socially responsible business aligned with American healthcare values. Collaborate with facility leadership and FAs to address employee and patient concerns and drive regional goals and standards. Qualifications & Requirements
Leadership for a multi-site operational business; experience leading a unified team. Experience identifying and committing to growth in your territory. Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
