Associate Technical Support Analyst

plays a crucial role in providing on-site IT support to healthcare providers and practice managers. As the primary contact for technical assistance in a clinical environment, your contribution will be essential for operational success. Key Responsibilities: Act as the on-site escalation point for clinicians requiring technical support. Willingness to travel within a 50-mile radius to provide IT support. Perform on-site troubleshooting using diagnostic techniques and effective questioning. Communicate effectively with customers regarding issues and resolutions. Redirect unresolved inquiries to the appropriate support team. Document and log all issues and resolutions accurately. Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support. Install and maintain workstations, printers, telephones, fax machines, and required software applications. Provide instruction and technical assistance to end-users as necessary. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware/software issues, including operating systems, applications, and network configurations; replace parts as needed. Manage and prioritize a heavy workload effectively in a dynamic work environment. Adapt to new technologies and assist customers in navigating technological changes. Coordinate new access needs and security modifications, ensuring proper system access. Oversee external contract resources for hardware installations and repairs as necessary. Ensure the security and necessary backup of all IT assets. Maintain a comprehensive inventory process for tracking equipment and software. Support the mission and values of Optum by adhering to all policies and procedures. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to resolve issues for internal staff and external clients. Provide timely follow-up and updates to customers on the status of their requests. Liaise with leadership and vendors to implement new processes and workflows. Manage escalations from the Help Desk to guarantee timely resolutions. Perform hands-on hardware and software fixes as needed. Develop and maintain a knowledge base for efficient problem resolution. Analyze trends to recommend system reconfigurations. Conduct end-user training sessions. Required Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED (or higher). 3+ years of full-time work experience in Information Technology. 3+ years of experience in IT Desktop Support. 3+ years of experience in software installation and hardware upgrades in business settings. 3+ years of experience in managing networked devices like printers and scanners. 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products, Windows OS, backup applications, Cisco hardware/software, Microsoft SharePoint, and HP hardware platforms. Ability to work on-site at 2175 Park Place, El Segundo, CA. Reliable transportation and a valid US driver's license. Preferred Qualifications/Soft Skills: Experience in asset management. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to analyze and develop solutions based on available data. Efficient use of time and resources to complete tasks and projects. Strong deductive reasoning skills for troubleshooting systems and developing solutions. Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a high-pressure environment. Compensation for this role varies based on factors like local labor markets, education, and experience. The hourly pay range for this position is between $28.27 and $50.48.
