This role is pivotal in advancing our digital transformation initiatives and includes conducting workflow analyses and providing recommendations to enhance business processes. We are looking for a candidate with a solid mix of traditional project management skills and a visionary outlook on digital transformation. You will have the opportunity to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, reporting to a Senior Manager or Director and potentially mentoring junior staff. This role serves as a bridge between traditional project implementation and innovative digital transformation support. It requires a blend of tactical execution and strategic service development, with a strong focus on customer engagement and process improvement. The position can be based at our Melville, NY office, or in Chicago, IL; Los Angeles, CA; Denver, CO; Miami, FL; Dallas, TX; Seattle, WA; or Philadelphia, PA. This full-time position features a hybrid work schedule, requiring office attendance Monday through Wednesday, with the flexibility to work from home for the rest of the week unless business needs dictate otherwise. Your Impact Project Planning & Execution
Lead the development and management of comprehensive project plans for device implementations and digital transformation projects. Coordinate resources, ensuring project milestones are consistently met. Manage on-site implementation resources and logistics at client locations as required. Monitor project timelines and modify plans proactively to adapt to changes. Collaboratively identify potential project risks and establish effective mitigation strategies. Address project issues swiftly, escalating when necessary to maintain continuity. Ensure all project deliverables adhere to quality standards and fulfill client requirements. Conduct post-project reviews and sessions to drive continuous improvement. Utilize project management tools to monitor progress and report performance effectively. Contribute to the refinement of project management tools and methodologies.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
Act as the main contact for all project stakeholders, including clients and internal teams. Facilitate regular status meetings and communicate updates clearly to all stakeholders, including C-Level executives. Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project goals. Work collaboratively with Canon business units to identify and implement process enhancements. Support knowledge sharing and contribute to team objectives. Mentor junior team members, promoting a learning environment. Solicit and integrate feedback from clients to enhance processes and outcomes. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Workflow Analysis & Digital Transformation
Support assessments of current workflows through interviews, observations, and data analysis. Identify inefficiencies and recommend opportunities for automation. Develop and present actionable recommendations for workflow improvements. Examples include: Implementing designated digital solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Transforming document management from physical to digital solutions. Standardizing processes for onboarding new devices and associated solutions.
About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of project management experience, ideally in document management or managed print services. Experience with digital transformation projects is highly valued. Familiarity with project management software (Daptiv or similar) is preferred. Strong knowledge of print workflows and automation initiatives is essential. Willingness to travel up to 30% as necessary. Must possess a valid state driver's license as it is required for this position.
This role necessitates driving and requires a clean driving record, complying with all company safety guidelines.
Exceptional communication skills and stakeholder engagement experience. CERTIFICATION(S) & LICENSE(S) Project+ or equivalent certification in project management. PMP certification is preferred but not mandatory. Six Sigma or similar process improvement training is a plus. Familiarity with Daptiv software is advantageous. OTHER EXPECTATIONS Knowledge of the document management industry is preferred. Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Experience engaging directly with clients at all organizational levels, including executives. Demonstrated professionalism and adaptability with a customer service mindset. Maintain knowledge of Canon products and partner solutions. PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT This position requires prolonged walking and standing at client sites. Must be able to lift or move items weighing up to 50 lbs. A competitive annual salary ranging from $76,150 to $114,040 is proposed for this role.
