Program Mgt-Subcontract, Asc Mgr

This position holds supply chain management and delegation responsibility for all applicable supplier agreements and contracts within the established authority. In this role you will perform subcontract program management duties in support of various programs, including: Manages subordinate team overseeing subcontractors or critical subcontracted systems for all contract types and programs. Directs and manages all costs, quality, schedule, financial and technical performance requirements that are levied on the subcontractor or the product family. Serve as Supply Chain Program Manager on various program pursuits. Develops sourcing and subcontract program management strategic plans that address overall program capture needs and execution. Ensures labor budgets are properly phased through program lifecycle. Responsible for leading and coaching a team of subcontract management professionals through all phases of the subcontract. Makes decisions affecting the performance of the subcontractor. Establishes milestone objectives and manages performance to committed schedules and contractual specifications. Leads team composed of subcontract management professionals. To be effective, ideally, you should also have: 8+ years of professional experience. Strong desire to develop and implement strategic initiatives and drive the team to execute. Prior professional experience working Supply Chain Management (SCM) fundamentals including, processes, procedures, policies, systems, and overall understanding of subcontracts and acquisition procedures. Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and contracting types. In-depth knowledge of all types of contracts and how to utilize which type in various program scenarios. Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with an ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and changes in deadlines. Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and work well under pressure. Experienced presenter to Program Management, internal stakeholders, and Customer representative. Ability to drive actions and results/resolution of contractual/technical issues and successful outcomes through teamwork. Implement continuous improvement leading to improved team and supplier performance. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with internal customers and stakeholders. Strong business acumen with a proven record of successful performance with focus on mission success, with demonstrated strong interpersonal skills. Demonstrated skills to drive culture change supporting enterprise initiatives (e.g. digital transformation, shift to "we vs. me" behaviors). Must be able to resolve complex problems in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills with ability to interface with all levels of management. Ability to be flexible and accept change. Proficient computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
